Here's how it works

1

A FREE CONSULT

First, we have a consult to talk about your family members, whether it's 7 of you or 27 of you. We brainstorm ideas for everything from clothing and poses to where you want your custom artwork to go. We create a plan that allows you to achieve all your goals.

If any nuclear family within an extended family wants to have a separate session for themselves, this is totally possible also.

Of course, smaller families of 10 or less CAN be photographed all in one grouping at one time. The collaged portraits are largely meant for large extended families or when everyone cannot be together at one time.

2

YOUR CUSTOM SESSION

If you can get everyone together at one session, perfect. If it’s impossible to make schedules align, multiple sessions will be required, of course.

The day of your session, we put the vision into action. We'll be set up before you arrive. The lights, the background, and all the fun tricks to get both little kids and young-at-heart adults having so much fun that everyone will feel relaxed and totally themselves in their finished portraits.

Teamwork makes the dream work!

3

ORDER YOUR ARTWORK

It all comes together in the ordering appointment where we will unveil your extended family collage of everyone looking great through our expertise with digital technology. Nobody will be lost in a back row or have their face hidden behind someone else, each family member gets to be front and center!

When possible, we'll meet at the jookie studio where we project the best images on a large screen and show you what your images will look like on the walls of your home.

If not possible to meet in person, we can meet via Zoom or do a hybrid meeting with both video conferencing and in-person meeting. We make it easy for you to decide on your final art and get excited about your new family artwork.

I'm Jill, the lead photographer and owner of jookie. I love working with kids and creating art, which is what jookie is about.

I often get asked how I came up with the name jookie. I named my studio after my oldest niece's pet guinea pig. It lends itself to the idea that portraits should be FUN and make you SMILE each time you look at them.

I believe kids are the coolest people on the planet, and all children should have their images displayed as art on their family's walls. I also think the portrait process should be simple and easy for parents.

I love capturing a family's love for each other and giving each family unique artwork to celebrate that love every day.
