As a portrait photographer of 25 years and a certified life coach since 2021 (thanks, pandemic!), Jill Liebhaber knows how to use the power of portraits to guide people into doing the things they want to be doing, even if those things might be a little (or a lot) hard or scary.

One part artistic workshop and photo session, one part understanding how your brain works (so you can make it work FOR you), ALL parts fun and fascinating.

About the team

Jill has a background in painting (Northwestern '00, Theory and Practice of Art) and over 25 years behind the camera professionally. Her approach blends a trained artist's eye with the joy of working with families of all stages and kids of all ages. After being certified as a life coach in 2021, a whole new level of how she serves people was infused into her work as a small business owner. In this artistic photo workshop, she invites participants to trust her as their guide to breaking through limiting beliefs to seeing themselves, literally and metaphorically, in a whole new light.

Meredith majored in Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies at DePaul University ('25) and also enjoyed many classes on creative writing. With a passion for arts and literature, she is excited to work on different hands-on pursuits that jookie has to offer (including this one)! She has impressed Jill endlessly with her can-do attitude and creative craftiness. She has been Jill's second set of hands as the Studio Assistant, helping bring project after project to fruition. Meredith shares Jill's love of being around kids, and you'll feel her calm and kid-like energy through every step of this workshop as well!

Sofi is a current Graphic Design student at DePaul who combines great attention to detail and charm to everything she touches, including design work and crocheting projects. As a Design Intern at jookie, she has helped up-level jookie's marketing as it moves toward its 20th anniversary celebrations. Sofi looks forward to seeing people's creativity in the workshop and how it will inspire others. Along the way, she will help you get unstuck with any design blocks.
