May 10th, 2018One-on-one Camera Learning Sessions with jookie Jill | Helping Moms take better photos | Chicago Children’s Photographer

EXTENDED! I’m still receiving emails today, and I don’t have the heart to tell these moms that the deadline was last night (plus their questions are really good!) so the deadline is extended through WEDNESDAY, MAY 16TH (AT MIDNIGHT).

Winners will be chosen randomly this Thursday. So Wednesday, May 16th IS
no kidding,
beyond question,
without a shadow of a doubt,
the new, final deadline.

It’s almost Mother’s Day! Aaaaaannnd it’s also my 17th anniversary as a kids & family photographer and 12th year of owning jookie. Let’s celebrate together!

In gratitude of the many AMAZING MOMS with whom I have had the joy to work with over the years and those I will have the privilege to work with in the future, I am gifting FIVE one-on-one camera learning sessions with me this summer.

Send me your camera/photo questions! Email me by Monday, May 14th Wednesday, May 16th (by midnight) at jill@jookiekids.com with “camera question” in the subject line.

All the moms (whether you’ve been to jookie as a portrait client or not) who submit questions via jill@jookiekids.com by Monday, May 14th will be entered into a drawing to receive one of FIVE free, one-hour, one-on-one camera learning sessions.

Ask me about your phone camera, or a fancy-pants camera, or both. Or about anything related to photography. If you have a few questions, simply include them (up to 3) in the same email. (One entry per mom for the giveaway, though.)

I will also answer as many of  the questions through my blog and a weekly e-newsletter. Some common questions parents have:

Are you thinking about buying a camera for an upcoming, once-in-a-lifetime vacation?

Do you wonder how some cameras can create images with a really beautiful, blurry background but yours doesn’t?

Did you upgrade to a dslr or a mirrorless camera, but you don’t know which lens to buy for it?

Are you wondering what manual mode means and whether you have to use it? And whether to shoot jpg, raw, or both?

Did you get a perfect shot of your kids over Spring Break, but the camera exposed for the background and the kids look dark?

Send me your questions! Don’t forget: write “camera help” in the subject line and send to jill@jookiekids.com by Monday, May 14th.

Plus, you can sign up to the jookie e-newsletter to get a weekly dose of camera help and tips.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you hard-working, incredible moms!

And don’t forget I’m here for other professional portrait needs as well! jookie is a children’s, family, baby and pet photography studio located in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago, created in 2006 by me, Jill (Help) Liebhaber, veteran Chicago kids and family photographer of 17 years, focused on creating custom art work for homes.

As a professional photography studio in Chicago, jookie serves nearby neighborhoods of Lakeview, Bucktown, Ravenswood, Andersonville, Edgewater, Lincoln Park, West Loop, River North, Old Town, Gold Coast, and Downtown. I also have families who come to me for baby, kid, dog, and family photos from the suburbs like LaGrange, Hinsdale, Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, Elmhurst, Oak Park, and also out of state like Wisconsin, New Hampshire, and California.

I am often asked by jookie parents to create head shots or professional portraits. If I have time to fit it into my schedule, I will!

Gift certificates are available and make a fantastic gift for Mother’s Day, Christmas, and birthdays. They can be for portrait sessions or for camera learning sessions.

jookie specializes in silly serious LOVE ™.
